Tribute to Temide is short-term installation that I did at premises of The Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia. There is a sculpture of goddess of justice, holding scales in one hand, sword in other and eyes tied up with a wrap. Her duty is to make fair justice based on moral and law. History shows that her good intentions are often outsmarted by ungodly humans who represent her in worldly matters. Most often they tend to swap the wrap around her eyes with one made of money and devote her more warm clothes in a form of money.
Sculpture is therefore updated with attributes according to realities of nowadays. Her clother and wrap is exchanged to money. Her eyes are tied up by money and body covered with money.
